Why send a preapproved letter to someone to only turn them down when they respond? This is very frustrating, especially if your a divorced woman trying to build her credit up only to be denied? My car was hit by a piece of a semi trailer that fell off while I was driving behind it. I have received a settlement from the insurance of the guy driving the truck, but I am wondering if I can also have the windshield covered by my insurance.

I know that in Oregon glass claims are a No Liability claim, but I am not sure if I can have my insurance cover the glass after I received the settlement. Seems like I should be able to, after all I pay them to cover damages.
