I paid over 10,000 cash for the car, got a bill of sale. got 20 cay temp plates, insured car but seller still has not sent title. He states he paid the bank loan off but they had to wait ten days, etc etc. It has been one month. my temp plates expired and I sold my other car and can not drive legally. What do I do now???? He seems like such a nice guy.

Bought a car from Luxury Motors of Colorado. The dealer went out of business and never paid the state tax plus the title cannot be found. We have been getting permits all this time but I guess I don’t want to be paying on a vehicle that I may not be able to keep. The state is investingating however they are telling me it will take another 6 months.
Is it not the responsibility of the credit union to secure the title?
