Backing out of a Car Loan?

I purchased a new car last night. Initially I was told I could take the car home overnight and test it out and bring it back, but once the guy started shoving paperwork at me, I signed it, and drove off with the car, so I assume there’s no real way to get out of it. I traded another car in on this car. I **** this car. My question is this, is there any easy way out? Also, they now want me to bring in pay stubs and proof of residence, so this to me implies that they havent secured financing just yet…so does that mean the deal really isnt done? What if i refuse to give them that info and their bank cancels? Or is there some legal recourse they can take if i dont provide that info….at any rate any help anyone can give would be great….except those who say you should have walked out instead of signing things…believe me, i wish i had.

Hi.. i have a car loan from HSBC. Unfortunately i have not enough money last month and did not pay (so i skipped one month) but I will pay double at the end of this month. (as if, last month’s loan plus this month’s loan).

But i feel not so secure. I don’t know much about this. What do you think would happen?

Btw, i never skip any payment before- this is the first. Thank you in advance.

My husband and I would like to purshase a car from a non-dealership. We both have bad credit but was wondering if we could use money that we have saved (good amount to purchase a house later on)….and go to my bank and use it for collateral..like a secured loan?

I am trying to purchase a car from a private party for around $23000. I have about $11,000 to put down cash but will need financing for the rest.I only have a 540 credit score. Does anyone have experience in auto lending that can refer me to an institution that would supply this type of loan. Is it easier to get a loan if your buying from a dealer? Please don’t send me to some website to apply for a million different loans. I am looking for concrete information from someone who has done this or knows something about it. thank you

I am in the process of looking for a car loan. The car I have now is not reliable and its time for a new one. I don’t have great credit (basically not enough credit). I don’t want to start applying for all these loans and mess up my credit period. So does anyone have loan companies that are relevantly easy to get a car loan with no/bad credit? People with personal experience would be helpful! Thanks a lot!!

So I moved to California a while back and I’ve been back home for about 4 months now, while I was there I got myself into a bad car loan. (Young and stupid).. they gave me a huge interest rate, almost the highest one they have. The car is a 2000 and is only worth like 7,000 but I owe about 10,000 (again, young and stupid). I make descent money (bout 35,000/year) and I have better then average credit. I have applied for refinance through BOA, Capital One and everything else online and got declined for everything I was wondering how to get rid of this bad loan or get rid of this car and get myself a new one!!!

Does anyone know where I could look for a good lender that deals with people with challenged credit? My current intrest rate is so high, I really need to refinance quick. I dont want to go to one of these places online that will run a million different inquiries. Any suggestions?

I would also consider trading the car in, but i’m not sure if that would be the best move. I have a 2007 pontiac g6 gt, 50k miles and I owe 16k. I’m super confused as to how the trade in process works and If that is something I should even be considering?
