I have poor credit because I’m in the middle of an identity theft nightmare (e.g. someone used my name to take out bank accounts and float checks as well as got a cellphone and pay day loans). I’m applying for a great job and the company does background checks. I got an interview and things look really promising. Do I tell them what they’re going to find if they pull my credit? I don’t want to make myself look bad, but I also don’t want to volunteer information that they couldn’t get.
